EDIT: You do NOT have to note me with the link to this assignment. We have a new website that will be up in a few days which you will be able to submit your assignment links too.
After many hours of dealing with technical issues and =Llourn's fantastic editing, the first anatomy video is up.
VIDEO DOWNLOAD LINKS:
The 47mb version is low quality for people with slow internet. The 90mb version is medium quality. The high quality version is like 700mb, so we're not uploading it.

The topics covered are:
Why anatomy is important to any artist
Resources for studying anatomy
Anatomy artists to study
Proportions
The Reilly method (briefly, because it is useful, but I prefer not to use it)
Gesture drawing (with a hilariously terrible demo)
15 minute quick anatomy study demo

The artist mentioned whose art is shown in the beginning is Marko Djurdjevic.
ASSIGNMENT:
Do ten 30 second gesture drawings from Posemaniacs.com using the random pose viewer
Do five 90 second gesture drawings from Posemaniacs.com using the random pose viewer
Do one figure study from a photograph at characterdesigns.com (at least 15 minutes).
These can be in any medium, digital or painter. This equates to way less than an hour of work over the next week, so don't complain.

Stop!
I wanna go home, take off this uniform, and leave the show.
But I'm waiting in this cell, because I have to know.
Have I been guilty all this time?
To be honest, I used the thirty second drawing thingy, and I have a bunch of gestures, but they're kindof messy. How distinct should they be?
